It's a new way of looking at music, and a new way of touching our souls. The band has called its albums &#8220;Soul Overdrive&#8221;, &#8220;Dash my Mind&#8221; and &#8220;Free Spirit&#8221;. A trilogy of albums featuring cover sleeve photos by Rico Parois, who can be considered a member of the collective and whose theme is modern architecture!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That's what the Cool Feedback is all about: a group that has built itself around a central axis but knows how to spread over musically so as to speak to you more clearly. You only have to see one of their concerts to realise that! Let's meet a group which has found its niche by accepting no dictates, no chapels whatsoever&#8230; Just a collective of free musicians!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now that the group has released its third album, Free Spirit, some of the musicians answered a few questions for you to find out more!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
		&lt;div class='rss_texte'&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How and when was the band born?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Gr&#233;goire Garrigues&lt;/strong&gt;: Before even thinking about a band, Robert Lloyd, Sonny Sharrock and I were in Bill Laswell's studio in New York in 1993 to record an album and we improvised a 10-minute piece of feedback with a view to incorporate it into a track. The result was so beautiful that it became a track in its own right, and was titled 'Tribute to Sun Ra'.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The group came together somewhat by chance in 1997 when recording tracks that would be released 9 years later. I started off recording feedback on guitar and bass on my own, then I asked Iann Assuied to play drums on 2 tracks, Michel Guikovaty to compose piano parts for another one and Robert Lloyd came to play on 'Catalyst on the List'. As a result: The Cool Feedback Quartet was born and an album 'Dash My Mind' was released in 2016 thanks to Thierry Los / 3 Jeunes Tambours !&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What have you been up to since then?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: Only a few concerts, a live album and 2 other studio albums, so 4 albums, which is no mean feat!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How would you describe the Feedback technique?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: Feedback is pretty simple to explain: take an electric guitar, the sound of the instrument comes out of an amp, this sound is picked up by the instrument's microphone and this forms a sound loop that can last as long as you like.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;And why feedback specifically?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Robert Lloyd&lt;/strong&gt;: I've always been spellbound by and in love with the Pibroch music of the Scottish Highlands (long solo bagpipe improvisations, very similar to Indian ragas). Somehow I knew I had to get into 'that world'. I was very fond of Pete Townshend's experiments, which nowadays would be described as 'noisy', in his inspired heyday, but it wasn't until I saw Jeff Beck, equipped with a Telecaster and a Vox &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;AC30&lt;/span&gt; amp in June '65, immersed in feedback, that the revelation, like Claudel at Notre-Dame, overwhelmed me: &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;THAT&lt;/span&gt;'S &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;WHO&lt;/span&gt; I &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;AM&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;AND&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;WHERE&lt;/span&gt; I &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;WANT&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;TO&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GO&lt;/span&gt;! It was as if Viviane and Merlin took me by the hand and said: 'we're with you, you are one of us, go for it, this is your duty'.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: Feedback is really unique, it's a bit like continuous breathing applied to the guitar. Contrary to what you might think, you don't have to play loud to get feedback, but when there's volume, it's a unique pleasure to feel everything vibrating, the air, the amps, your body, everything around you, it goes completely crazy! You just have to see Jimi Hendrix in action, for example.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What is today's line up?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: Since the first concert in June 2018 there has been Robert Lloyd-guitar, Jean-Bernard Lepape-drums, Gilbert Artman-bass clarinet and drums, Jac Berrocal-trumpet, Morgan Lano&#235;-bass and over the course of the other concerts Laurent Lanouzi&#232;re-bass, Jos&#233; Ortuno-guitar, Tullia Morand-saxophone, Pierre Mimran-saxophone, Didier L&#233;glise-synthesizer and Vincent Chavagnac-saxophone. The new album features J&#233;r&#244;me Pons-piano, but he hasn't played live with us yet.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Gr&#233;goire, I know that Laurent and Jean-Bernard have been playing rock with you for a long time, but Tullia, Pierre, Gilbert and Jac, who come from other musical backgrounds, how did you end up playing in this group?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tullia Moran and Pierre Mimran&lt;/strong&gt;: Gr&#233;goire is first and foremost a friend. He's open-minded about his style of music, he comes from rock and he's curious to discover and integrate other musical worlds. He invited us to take part in the recording of 2 Cool Feedback albums and we were really taken with the idea. It was a great experience for us, a human and a musical one!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Gilbert Artman&lt;/strong&gt;: Robert and I have known each other for a long time, and we used to go to the same venues and concerts. From time to time, we'd meet up at the end of the evening at the Lloyd's, where the welcome was very warm, and the discotheque full of little gems and discoveries for me. It was also a place where Philippe Bone and Gilles Y&#233;pr&#233;mian were preparing actions and concerts with bands such as Half Human Band, Ricky Darling and others.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It was undoubtedly during one of these preparatory meetings for the Noisysson-Sec festival that Patrick Eudeline and the proto Asphalt Jungle, later joined by Gr&#233;goire Garrigues, first came together.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It was only too logical &#8211; after the very fine Robert Lloyd album - that surrounded by relentless noisy groovers, with the palette augmented by a pair of saxophonists bringing other colours and adding extra space, I joined the group at their invitation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I'd like to thank them for their willingness to welcome us to this adventure with Jac from time to time, and to share our eternal thwarted well-being.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Jac Berrocal&lt;/strong&gt;: We ended up playing together because the 4 of us know each other, along with Gilbert and Robert, but we don't really come from different worlds - I listen to music from the Middle Ages to the hardest metal!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And Gr&#233;goire has a lot of experience in common with me, particularly through Vince Taylor and Bobbie Clarke.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Laurent Lanouzi&#232;re&lt;/strong&gt;: The Cool Feedback is a collective and a group whose line up is liable to change, where each member brings his own sensitivity, his own stone to the building. In concerts, we sculpt this same stone as if we were cutting the facets of a precious stone to make it sparkle, properly calibrated and unique. To find its essence.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It's all about nuances, suspended moments, listening, where one is standing, the silence and the noise, the stupor that rubs shoulders with a state of grace, where everyone finds their place.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;JBL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: It's a unique blend of jazz and rock, but it's not just that, nor is it jazz-rock, it's also free music, which is why it's so interesting.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As Gr&#233;goire says, Free-Form Music is great because in this music there's freedom, there's Free.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;You've just released a new album, Free Spirit. Where and with whom was it recorded?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: It was recorded in Paris with the musicians mentioned above, except for Vincent Chavagnac who only played live.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How do you record: do the horns rehearse together, and guitars too?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: For this album 3 tracks were written with the drummers, Gilbert and Jean-Bernard, for the other musicians I prepared the basics which the musicians listened to on their own, then during the recording they knew in which direction to go. The rehearsals only take place before the concerts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How would you describe this new album?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: It's a continuity of the previous album, with the addition of new instruments (Dan Bao, mandolin, &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;MS20&lt;/span&gt;). &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: I always start by finding chords on piano, then I think about the instruments that will be there. Tempo and key are also important, and must be taken into account for certain instruments. I then record demos that gradually turn into songs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Cool Feedback could be compared to certain types of jazz music. Does improvisation play a big role in this?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: Yes, the fact of improvising is what brings the group closest to jazz. And to do that you need musical support, which is provided by feedback from the guitars and enhanced by the drums.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;JBL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: Yes, of course, improvisation plays a big part, it has its place, it contributes to the construction of the tracks.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It's a music that we're trying to build and that's influenced by so much other musical forms, the members of the group know a lot of things, that's why they manage to find themes, colours and improvise together and that's what makes it a whole.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;PM&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: Improvisation is fundamental to this project. It's essential and it offers a great deal of freedom that you find in free jazz, but with a more classical aesthetic in the solos.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: The music is written down and allows the soloists to improvise, but each of them makes it evolve as they see it. I indicate the changes of theme, I act a bit as conductor and with Jean-Bernard we mainly wave to each other and all the musicians listen to what the others are doing, and we have to know how to stop at the right moment together!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;PM&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: For me it was a great pleasure to play on stage with the group. The total openness allows you to explore infinite possibilities of improvisation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;JBL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: On stage it's all about listening, it's all about magic. There's no recipe for it, that's why I use the word magic, the band's sound really takes shape, there's really a sound that's there, and it plays, and it plays, and it plays!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It's amazing to get together with people like Jean-Bernard who's a magnificent drummer. Everyone is tuned in to what's going on.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What are your plans for the future?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;JBL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;: To find a tour manager and a circuit to do more concerts.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Le groupe a pris forme un peu par hasard en 1997 lors de l'enregistrement de titres qui sortiront 9 ans plus tard. J'avais commenc&#233; &#224; enregistrer tout seul des parties de guitare et basse en feedback puis J'ai demand&#233; &#224; Iann Assuied de jouer de la batterie sur 2 titres, &#224; Michel Guikovaty de composer des parties de piano pour un autre et Robert Lloyd est venu jouer sur &#171;&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;Catalyst on the List&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;&#187;, r&#233;sultat&#160;: The Cool Feedback Quartet naissait et un album &#171;&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;Dash My Mind&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;&#187; sortait en 2016 gr&#226;ce &#224; Thierry Los/3 Jeunes Tambours.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Le feedback est assez simple &#224; expliquer&#160;: prenons une guitare &#233;lectrique, le son de l'instrument sort d'un ampli, ce son est repris par le micro de l'instrument et cela constitue une boucle sonore qui peut durer autant de temps que l'on veut.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Et pourquoi le feedback&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Robert Lloyd&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: J'ai toujours &#233;t&#233; envout&#233; et amoureux de la musique Pibroch des Highlands d'Ecosse (longues improvisations de cornemuse solo, tr&#232;s proche des ragas indiens). D'une fa&#231;on ou d'une autre je voyais qu'il fallait que je m'introduise dans &#171;&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;cet univers la&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;&#187;. J'aimais beaucoup les exp&#233;rimentations qui seraient qualifi&#233;es de &#171;&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;bruitiste&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;&#187;de nos jours de Pete Townshend, &#224; sa grande p&#233;riode inspir&#233;e, mais ce ne fut qu'en voyant Jeff Beck, arm&#233; d'une Telecaster et d'un ampli vox &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;AC30&lt;/span&gt; en juin 65, plong&#233; dans le feedback, que la r&#233;v&#233;lation, comme Claudel &#224; Notre-Dame, me submergea, &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;JE&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;SUIS&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;CELA&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;ET&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;TELLE&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;EST&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;MA&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;VOIE&lt;/span&gt;&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;! &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Le feedback est vraiment unique, c'est un peu le souffle continu appliqu&#233; &#224; la guitare. Contrairement &#224; ce que l'on pourrait penser, il n'est pas n&#233;cessaire de jouer fort pour avoir du feedback, mais quand il y a du volume, l&#224; c'est un plaisir unique, sentir tout vibrer, l'air, les amplis, le corps, tout ce qu'il y a autour, ca devient compl&#232;tement fou&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;! Il suffit de voir Jimi Hendrix en action par exemple.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Depuis le premier concert en juin 2018 il y a Robert Lloyd-guitare, Jean-Bernard Lepape-batterie, Gilbert Artman-clarinette basse et batterie, Jac Berrocal-trompette, Morgan Lano&#235;-basse et au fil des autres concerts Laurent Lanouzi&#232;re-basse, Jos&#233; Ortuno-guitare, Tullia Morand-saxophone, Pierre Mimran-saxophone, Didier L&#233;glise-synthetiseur et Vincent Chavagnac-saxophone. Sur le nouvel album il y a J&#233;r&#244;me Pons-piano mais il n'a pas encore jou&#233; sur sc&#232;ne avec nous.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Gr&#233;goire, je sais que Laurent et Jean-Bernard jouent du rock depuis longtemps avec toi mais Tullia, Pierre et Jac qui venez d'autres univers musicaux, comment vous &#234;tes-vous retrouv&#233;s &#224; jouer dans ce groupe&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tillia Moran et Pierre Mimran&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Gr&#233;goire est avant tout un ami. Il a une ouverture d'esprit par rapport &#224; son style de musique, il vient du rock et il est curieux de d&#233;couvrir et d'int&#233;grer d'autres univers musicaux. Il nous a propos&#233; de participer &#224; l'enregistrement des 2 albums du Cool Feedback et cela nous a s&#233;duit. &#199;a a &#233;t&#233; une super exp&#233;rience pour nous aussi bien humainement que musicalement&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Gilbert Artman&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Depuis bien longtemps nous nous connaissons avec Robert, nous fr&#233;quentions les m&#234;mes lieux et concerts. De temps en temps, nous nous retrouvions en fin de soir&#233;e chez les Lloyd o&#249; l'accueil &#233;tait tr&#232;s chaleureux, et la discoth&#232;que remplie de petits bijoux et pour moi de d&#233;couvertes. On y rencontrait des personnes et musiciens passionnants, c'&#233;tait un lieu o&#249; se pr&#233;paraient, avec Philippe Bone et Gilles Y&#233;pr&#233;mian, des actions et concerts avec des groupes comme&#160;: Half Human Band, Ricky Darling etc&#8230;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;C'est sans doute lors d'une de ces r&#233;unions pr&#233;paratoires du festival &#171;&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;Noisysson-Sec&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;&#187; que s'est r&#233;v&#233;l&#233; autour de Patrick Eudeline la premi&#232;re mouture du l&#233;gendaire Asphalt Jungle, que Gr&#233;goire Garrigues rejoindra plus tard.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Et c'est en toute logique - apr&#232;s avoir r&#233;alis&#233; le tr&#232;s beau disque de Robert Lloyd &#8211; qu'entour&#233; de groovers bruitistes implacables, la palette s'augmentant d'une paire de saxophonistes amenant d'autres couleurs et donnant un autre espace, j'ai rejoint le groupe &#224; leur invitation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Merci &#224; eux d'avoir bien voulu nous accueillir avec Jac ponctuellement dans cette aventure, et &#233;grener notre &#233;ternel bien-&#234;tre contrari&#233;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Jac Berrocal&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: On s'est retrouv&#233; &#224; jouer parce qu'on se conna&#238;t tous les 4 avec Gilbert et Robert, mais on ne vient pas tellement d'univers diff&#233;rents, j'&#233;coute de la musique du moyen &#226;ge au m&#233;tal le plus dur&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Et Gr&#233;goire a plein d'exp&#233;riences presque communes avec moi notamment &#224; travers Vince Taylor et Bobbie Clarke, on s'est r&#233;uni et &#231;a a fusionn&#233;.&lt;/p&gt;

Chaque concert, jusqu'&#224; pr&#233;sent, s'est d&#233;roul&#233; avec une configuration diff&#233;rente de musiciens. Il est r&#233;jouissant de sentir le plaisir partag&#233; de se r&#233;unir autour d'une mati&#232;re sonore peu banale.&lt;/p&gt;

Les r&#233;p&#233;titions n'ont lieu qu'avant les concerts.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Je commence toujours par trouver des accords au piano, puis je pense aux instruments qui vont y &#234;tre int&#233;gr&#233;s, le tempo et la tonalit&#233; sont importants aussi, il faut en tenir compte pour certains instruments. J'enregistre ensuite des maquettes qui se transforment au fur et &#224; mesure en morceaux.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;GG&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Oui, le fait d'improviser est ce qui rapproche le plus le groupe du Jazz. Et pour cela il faut un support musical qui est fournit par les guitares en feedback et soutenu par la batterie.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;JBL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Oui bien s&#251;r, l'improvisation joue un grand r&#244;le, elle a sa place, elle participe &#224; la construction des morceaux.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;C'est une musique que nous essayons de construire et qui est influenc&#233;e par tellement d'autres musiques, les membres du groupe connaissent beaucoup de choses, c'est pour &#231;a qu'ils arrivent &#224; trouver des th&#232;mes, des couleurs et &#224; improviser ensemble et que &#231;a fait un tout&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;PM&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: L'improvisation est fondamentale dans ce projet. Elle est essentielle et elle offre une tr&#232;s grande libert&#233; que l'on retrouve dans le Free-jazz mais avec une esth&#233;tique plus classique dans les solos.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;PM&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Pour moi ce fut un grand plaisir de jouer sur sc&#232;ne avec le groupe. L'ouverture totale permet d'explorer des possibilit&#233;s d'improvisation infinies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class=&#034;caps&#034;&gt;JBL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&#160;: Sur sc&#232;ne c'est l'&#233;coute, c'est la magie. Quand on s'entend bien sur sc&#232;ne, quand la circulation du son dans le groupe se passe bien l&#224; c'est une magie, on le sent, il n'y a pas de recette &#224; &#231;a, c'est pour &#231;a que j'emploie le mot magie, le son du groupe prend vraiment corps, il y a vraiment un son qui est l&#224;, et &#231;a joue, et &#231;a joue, et &#231;a joue&lt;small class=&#034;fine d-inline&#034;&gt;&#160;&lt;/small&gt;!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;C'est &#233;tonnant de se r&#233;unir avec des gens comme Jean-Bernard qui est un magnifique batteur, tout le monde est &#224; l'&#233;coute des choses.&lt;/p&gt;
